A demo of the image grid module; a contactsheet of images, with or without captions, opening an enlargement above the sheet. The image grid is very customizable. You can specify the width and height, but most importantly: the way the images are being shown. You can have them fit in a box, or cropped, so they completely fill the box, or place them in rows by giving all images equal height. Next up: customize the spacing between images.
Rudin is porting the thumbnail strip to be found in the Viewbook galleries from Flash to HTML/JavaScript. Please welcome the ‘SwapScroller’! Unique about this thumbnail strip is that you can swap direction of the movement anywhere on the strip. All that’s required is some nifty mouse position analysis and delays.
